i have wandered the web today and it felt good

findings:

• this pair of videos: (1) (2) about the indie web (+disambiguating its other terms/names). well written introduction to it, and i love the enthusiasm. this honestly convinced me to add a chatroom in here sometime, lmfao
• filesfound.net - "cool 3d" 90s software. god i love weird old junk like this and i want to read all the articles on this website. i broke down laughing after it gave me this beautiful gem of a gif
• reading a bunch of about sections on random neocities sites. read about a stranger! feel a blip of quiet connection to the world if only for the moment!

in light of ao3 being down for not one, but TWO whole days last week, i'm updating the writing section today! i don't know how to describe this fic, the rodiolive summary/retrospective/finale? it started off like "teehee kisses!" and ended up ruining me.

also, new post about journaling that i wanted to write for ages.

been a while since the last update. i'm here to update my perfume blog post. i'm still going thru designer testers AND i made a bespoke perfume!!! (oc inspired :) )

speaking of perfumes, i found an excellent video essay on why the current perfume scene is so weird and why/how influencers market the Idea of the scent, and how it's less about the actual scent itself. i liked it!

the oc directory is turning out to be a full-on wiki... knowledgebase is a fitting name
