Octarian Migration

Inkadian octolings have always escaped the Valley and Canyon to settle on the surface, but there are some events of significance in their migration.

One of the first major waves of migration happened at the start of the first NSS invasion, in the aftermath of Operation Gambit. Part of this wave were:

  • Itvara Dewaele
  • Eiso Nai
  • Regina Revelia

Another huge migration happened after the NSS defeated the Octobot King, and the Calamari Inkantantion was heard throughout the Valley. Most notably, Marina Ida was one of the defectors.

But the biggest migration was when the Octarian Liberation discovered a reliable route between the domes and the Surface through the Deepsea Metro. Although a perilous journey, the Liberation has been aiding octolings on their passage to Inkopolis on this route ever since, providing information, warnings and shepherding.
