Donna Barresi

Description

Very soft spoken and relaxed, to the point of living in her own daydreams. She always seems to be in a trance. Either that, or she's looking at nothing in particular and thinking of her next mural to spray.

She won't pay much attention to you when you talk to her, preferring to fiddle with the hem of her hoodie or sweater, but she will somehow grasp the important points. It depends on how comfortable she is with the crowd if she decides to speak or not, but if she does, she often has one-liners.

On the weekends, she wakes up in the afternoon and goes out to the skate park by the time the sun is ready to set. She often extends her outings in the night, to tag and spray the streets around the city. Curiously, she’s not afraid of the risks, or at least not fully aware of them. Many places in Inkopolis bear her tag name: “ONE”.

She's very fond of children and she works with them very well: she knows their language and instantly connects with them. Even if she's childish herself, she aspires to become a preschool teacher.

Story

Early years

She is the youngest of the Barresis. Her stepsister, Beryl, was 4 when she hatched. The two had an harmonious childhood, though Donna often got less of the blame than Beryl for any mischief, even though Beryl was the more careful one.

She enrolled in a high school on the outskirts of Inkopolis, ending up in the same year as Olive. She hadn’t yet figured out what to do in her newfound adulthood. Unlike Beryl, she wasn’t too fussed about the choice, and chose to live off their parent’s wealth for a while. Donna led a more bohemian life, where she would write urban poetry, skateboard and do graffiti after sunset.

2016-2017 M.E.

She met Pepper in Blackbelly Skatepark, whose face she recognised from high school, her being a year below Donna. Donna offered to help Pepper with her skateboarding techniques, and was oblivious to her crush.
