Description
The essence of a whole summer day, concentrated in one body. There’s a subtle charm in his words and moves, complementing his sunny, easy-going vibe and grounded mindset. Don't be fooled by it: underneath hides an inflated, neurotic ego, torn between his stubborn and nurturing sides.
He’s a true adept of the finer things of life and routine won’t bother him. However, he never shies from a bit of spice in life, he's just not one to initiate it.
He owns an impressive collection of houseplants, most of them bought on impulse. He takes a lot of pride in them, yet, he can’t help but feel a bit of a hoarder. He has a soft spot for delicate things, such as sensitive plants and fresh bed sheets. He’s also a hopeless romantic, which is both a blessing and curse.
When he's not worrying, he's fully immersed in the present, acutely aware of his surroundings, relying on all of his senses. This vivid inner landscape makes him an unlikely creative. Others find great support in his outstanding ability to listen.
He doesn’t let go of people easily, but he doesn't stop them from leaving, so he often ends up heartbroken. It’s a rare occurrence to see him cracking at the seams from grief, but once it happens, he's a complete wreck. However, he's used to climbing out of his misery.
Story
Early years
He is the only child of Mia Anthos. His birth name is Elia Anthos. He hatched in Saronicity, and was raised single-handedly by Mia. As he turned 13, his mother found an opportunity as a herbalist in Inkopolis, and the two flew over to the Inkadian capital. Although he has spoken and written only the Aegean region’s language (squid-ified hellenic), Elia knew enough Inklish from school and listening to his favourite bands (which sang exclusively in Inklish).
At the beginning of high school, he inklinganized his name out of fear of being judged, and he started going by Olive. He was quite shy, and still a bit of a cry-baby, so he had a tougher time adjusting to the new environment.
During a day in which the students had to pick their battling team, Olive was picked by Pepper, as he was one of the last squids to be picked, and he looked like on the verge of breaking into tears. Since then, Olive and Pepper became very close friends. He courted her, though she never reciprocated his feelings.

After graduating high school, he enrolled into the Botany course at Inkopolis University. As he was living in the suburbs with his mother, he also rented a small apartment closer to the campus, where he would live alone for his first year. Besides his course friends: Tilly, Tavi and Mora, he also met June Maure and dated her. Her breakup with him foreshadowed his downward spiral, in which his apartment got broken into, his landlord became more unreasonable, and he wouldn’t be able to pay rent anymore.
He made a final attempt at keeping his apartment by joining a turf war tournament. There, he got disqualified together with Rodi, and was left broke and with a bump on his head. In sympathy, Rodi offered him his apartment until he’d get a new place to live.
St. Lucia - Physical
He got hired at Kelp Dome as a greenhouse worker, and began saving money and house hunting. In the meantime, Olive developed strong feelings for Rodi (surprise surprise). In a turn of events, he ended up living with Rodi longer than anticipated. They eventually made their relationship “official”.
Rodi asked him to help out at his bar as a bartender. Olive (eventually) accepted, and decided on the location’s name: Mimosa.

One True Pairing - Elite Companion
He soon realised he signed up for more than he could take with Mimosa, as each night got busier at the downstairs bar. However, his passion for mixology was recognised and encouraged by Beryl, who mentored him and Rodi throughout their careers.
In his final university year, he picked an odd plant found on Bluefin Island as his thesis subject. Life only got more intense as he balanced bartending, studying and his complicated feelings for his lovers (current and past).
